Studio Guenzani apre al pubblico nell’autunno del 1986 con una mostra personale di Arcangelo.
Negli anni, la sfida della galleria, è stata quella di proporre diversi artisti emergenti.
Allo Studio Guenzani hanno esposto artisti stranieri: Nobuyoshi Araki, Kcho, Yayoi Kusama, Louise Lawler, Paul McCarthy, Charles Ray, Allen Ruppersberg, Salvatore Scarpitta, Cindy Sherman, Hiroshi Sugimoto; e giovani artisti italiani: Stefano Arienti, Giuseppe Gabellone, Luisa Lambri, Margherita Manzelli, Alessandro Pessoli, Matteo Rubbi e Patrick Tuttofuoco.
Ripercorrendo i suoi quasi 30 anni di attività Studio Guenzani apre tutte le sale della galleria e dedica una mostra alla propria storia ponendo l’attenzione sulla ricerca che ha contraddistinto la galleria nel corso degli anni.
Gli spazi della galleria si riempiranno, come in una wunderkammer, di quadri, sculture, fotografie, in un intenso dialogo tra passato e presente.
Saranno esposte, tra le altre, le opere di: Araki, Arcangelo, Arienti, Basilico, Beuys, Bishton, Castellani, Gabellone, Garutti, Gobbi, Kaufmann, Kcho, Kusama, Lambri, Landers, Lawler, Lockhart, Manzelli, Mapplethorpe, McCarthy, Meadows, Morimura, Mulas, Nagy, Nepomuceno, Not Vital, Opie, Owens, Penone, Pessoli, Pittman, Rubbi, Ruppersberg, Scarpitta, Sherman, Sugimoto, Tuttofuoco e Yuskavage.

Over the years the gallery has been showing several emerging artists, both international as: Nobuyoshi Araki, Kcho, Yayoi Kusama, Louise Lawler, Paul McCarthy, Charles Ray, Allen Ruppersberg, Salvatore Scarpitta, Cindy Sherman, Hiroshi Sugimoto; and young italian artists as: Stefano Arienti, Giuseppe Gabellone, Luisa Lambri, Margherita Manzelli, Alessandro Pessoli, Matteo Rubbi e Patrick Tuttofuoco.
Retracing its nearly 30 years of activity Studio Guenzani opens all its exhibition rooms, and dedicates a big show to its own history, focusing attention on research that has distinguished the gallery over the years. In an intense dialogue between past and present, all the exhibition rooms will be filled with paintings, sculptures, photographies like being in a wunderkammer.
